My Story

Helping you make the most of your life

Hi, I'm Karen and I became a Life Coach because I really want to help people make the most of their lives.

Personal

When I was in my early twenties my mother died – she was in her early fifties, and this led me to live by the mantra 'Seize the day' as you never know what's going to happen.

Shortly afterwards, I was diagnosed with kidney disease and later was fortunate to have a transplant, after spending a few years on dialysis. This re-enforced my mantra and gave me the determination to live a positive, healthy life.

Professional

I have been a Learning and Development consultant for 25+ years, having previously worked my way up from administration to middle management within several financial services companies.

Moving into Learning and Development gave me the opportunity to help people develop in many areas (communication skills, management, customer service, resilience, influencing etc.), researching, designing, and delivering training.

I opted to take redundancy three times over the course of my career and although scary each time, this allowed me to step outside my comfort zone, to seize the day and grow my skills.

As a Life Coach, I'm now able to make a real difference to individuals, and I get so much pleasure from seeing the positive changes in their lives.

I have qualifications in financial services, Mental Health First Aid, training (CIPD & PTLLS) and two diplomas in Coaching (latest level 4) plus I'm an associate member of the Association of Coaching and a DISC practitioner.

Please contact me for a free friendly chat with no obligation about how I can help you to live a more fulfilled life.
